Skipper Cushing (any/all) is a nonbinary artist currently based in Cincinnati, Ohio, where they have been creating under the moniker Spaced Punk Studios for several years. They are a mixed media artist and curator, and are most intrigued by work incorporating interactive and narrative elements. Skipper recently graduated magna cum laude with their BFA from the University of Cincinnati. They have had their work shown in several exhibitions for young artists and have also curated multiple shows for DAAP, CampSITE Social Sculpture Park, and 1628 Ltd.
In addition to their art practice, Skipper spends their time playing Dungeons and Dragons, watching horrible movies with friends, modifying their own clothes, and badly playing video games on Twitch. They enjoy absurdist fiction, punk music, sci-fi, and superheroes. They are very passionate about sustainability, often scavenging for second-hand oddities, and they are also an active member of a local mutual aid group.
