Made as a self portrait that doesn't include myself, this work instead includes aesthetics I enjoy and materials I like to work with. The base for this project is a cardboard box designed to look like a book that was found at a thrift shop. The book rests on a painted pillow and is surrounded by fake flowers, and viewers are encouraged to open the book and inspect it themselves, though it does not necessarily have to be interactive.
